Buy a new Kitty Litter tray for a Cheap, Portable Sandbox!
  • Perfect size, shape and depth for little hands
  • Very inexpensive, around $10, no need to buy an expensive freestanding sandbox or table
  • Buy two: one for sand, one for water play
  • Portable, you can put it on a table top, and easily move it into the shade
  • Keep it covered (especially if you have cats)
  • You can also use a plastic sweater or boot storage box, which come with lids
  • Fill with safe playground sand or use clean pea gravel, dried beans, rice, macaroni etc.
  • Remember to clean and replace frequently
