Close the Lid!
Or get fecal matter on your toothbrush, yuck!
  • Each toilet flush creates an unseen mist that can travel up to 20 feet in all directions.
  • Toilet water can contain fecal matter, E. coli, streptococcus, staphylococcus, klebsiella oxytoca, enterobacter, flu and cold viruses etc.
  • Micro-droplets land on everything within the flush zone: toothbrushes, drinking cups, bath toys etc. The mist can stay in the air for 2 hours, and can be inhaled. Pathogens can live on surfaces for a week.
